Job Summary

The Head of Finance will oversee accounting discipline, treasury processes, management reporting, expense control, and financial governance for UTC proprietary trading operations. The position requires institutional judgment, careful documentation, and the ability to support management decisions across a global operating footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own monthly close coordination, management accounts, cash-flow monitoring, expense controls, and board-level financial reporting packs.
  • Support treasury visibility across proprietary trading accounts, broker relationships, technology spend, infrastructure costs, and overseas subsidiaries.
  • Coordinate reconciliations, invoice approvals, tax documentation, intercompany records, and audit support with external advisers where required.
  • Build finance controls that separate operational spending, trading capital visibility, payroll, vendor management, and infrastructure procurement.
  • Provide management with clear financial analysis on hiring plans, technology deployment, server operations, and trading infrastructure expansion.

Candidate Profile

  • Finance leader with experience in financial services, fintech, trading operations, treasury, audit, or corporate control environments.
  • Strong command of accounting controls, reporting discipline, documentation standards, and senior stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to work with sensitive trading and infrastructure information under strict confidentiality expectations.
  • Professional accounting qualification or equivalent senior finance experience is preferred.

This role supports proprietary trading operations and internal corporate finance; it is not a public fundraising, brokerage, or client-facing investment role.
