Job Summary

UTC is building a disciplined global proprietary trading organization supported by trading robots, risk-control processes, and cross-border operating entities. The Head of Human Resources will lead recruitment, employment governance, performance standards, and staff administration for the Singapore office while coordinating with overseas operating teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a high-trust hiring and onboarding process for trading operations, technology, finance, legal, and infrastructure teams.
  • Design employment policies that support confidentiality, trading-floor discipline, access control, shift coverage, and operational accountability.
  • Maintain employee records, job descriptions, compensation files, attendance practices, disciplinary records, and employment documentation with audit-ready precision.
  • Coordinate with management on workforce planning for proprietary trading operations across Singapore and overseas subsidiaries.
  • Support internal training, conduct standards, information-security awareness, and incident escalation practices for staff working around trading systems.

Candidate Profile

  • Experienced HR leader in financial services, technology operations, trading, fintech, or another high-control operating environment.
  • Strong command of employment documentation, staff confidentiality obligations, performance management, and executive communication.
  • Comfortable working with technical and trading teams where reliability, discretion, and response discipline matter every day.
  • Fluent professional English; Mandarin capability is an advantage for regional coordination.
