【Responsibilities】
- Work closely with regional beat reporters and a network of freelancers to commission and edit impactful stories for our weekend edition.
- Edit and refine submitted content and occasionally pitch and write original stories.
- Collaborate with the design, audience, and production teams to craft highly engaging visual and interactive stories.
- Select and curate top content to feature in the weekend edition, including in-depth analyses, multimedia content, and the best from our original reporting.
- Coordinate with our global weekend news team and contribute to an integrated editorial approach across international markets.
- Use analytics to optimize content based on reader engagement, driving subscriber growth and audience loyalty.
【Qualifications】
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in journalism, communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a digital newsroom, with a background in financial journalism and a deep understanding of other relevant topics like culture, politics, travel, and sports.
- Expertise in commissioning and editing long-form and enterprise journalism.
- Proficiency in CMS and web publishing tools, and a strong grasp of evolving digital audience behavior and subscription analytics.
- A collaborative spirit with the ability to network and foster relationships within our newsroom and across the region.
- Flexibility, a proactive attitude, and a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
