【Responsibilities】

  • Utilize data from various sources and analytical techniques to assist in completing complex research tasks in the petrochemical industry
  • Conduct in-depth research on regional market segmentation trends, competitors, industry hotspots, market trends, emerging issues, and related technical topics
  • Help maintain and enhance proprietary analytical models and databases currently sold to clients, such as supply-demand models, refining models, inventory models, etc.
  • Interpret the rationality and usability of modeling results
  • Conduct industry research, study and discuss latest market trends
  • Write regular commentary articles based on in-depth research of market dynamics and government policies
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with local and regional management
  • Execute data structuring and modeling analysis tasks to support trading desk strategy evaluation

 

【Requirements】

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science/Petroleum/Chemical/Biology/Geopolitics, etc., Master’s degree preferred, fresh graduates acceptable, full-time joining from June 2025
  • Internship or work experience in crude oil extraction/natural gas extraction/refining/chemical/downstream industries required
  • Modeling and data science-related work experience is a plus
  • Curiosity about global petrochemical markets with basic knowledge of geopolitics
  • Strong research and analytical abilities, capable of handling large datasets; researching complex issues and writing coherent analyses
  • Excellent communication skills, English is required working language, strong international business English oral, writing, and presentation skills preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning abilities – should be able to troubleshoot independently and question illogical data
  • Proficient in technical tools like Python and data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Spotfire, and Tableau
  • High motivation, results-oriented, with strong self-learning and research capabilities
  • Good interpersonal skills, customer-focused, values stakeholder relationships
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment, willing to exchange valuable information and research methods
